December

Of course we had a great time this month celebrating the birth of baby Jesus and all of the fun Christmas activities!  The kids had a blast and got some good stuff for Christmas too!

Here is Sibley and Wyatt going to see Santa at the mall.  This is another picture of Wyatt thinking he needed to pose like Sibley so here he is trying to hold out his pants like Sibley is doing with her dress!  He's pretty funny!

Sibley's name was drawn at school to play the part of Mary in the school play!  She was SOOO excited and had a HUGE smile during the entire play!  After the play everyone kept telling me that she was the happiest Mary they have ever seen!

Here is Wyatt in the play.  He was supposed to be a sheep but refused to wear the sheep ears so he was just Wyatt, I guess!

"Joseph and Mary" after the play

Wyatt and "Mary"

The best part - getting to eat baby Jesus' birthday cake!

Singing Christmas songs

Here is Sibley being an angel in the play on the second day.  They have the play 2 times.  Once for Monday, Wednesday, Friday kids then again for the Tuesday, Thursday kids.  Since the pre-k kids go everyday, they are in the play twice and pick a different name to play the part of Mary and Joseph on the second day.  So here she is as an angel with the other girls in her class.  Still happy as can be!

Singing away!

Here is the house on Christmas morning before Sibley and Wyatt woke up!  They both got their new beds from Santa.  Sibley wanted a zebra bed and Wyatt wanted a giraffe bed.  More pictures to come of that once they are assembled.  Sibley also got Barbie and Ken in a Barbie Jeep, a Snow White doll, little animals and people that can be used in her doll house, Hungry, Hungry Hippo and all kinds of stuff in her stocking like press on nails, a princess wand, bubble gum, hello kitty pencils and more!  Wyatt got a new train for his Thomas the Train set, a sheriff's dress up set with a pistol, rifle and bandanna, the game Operation, little animals and people to play with in his new heros house and a stocking full of stuff like gum, spiderman pencils and notepad, magnifying glass, watercolors and more!
They also got other fun gifts from everyone in the family like the movies Mary Poppins, Brave, and Tangled, a bowling set, a ceramic tea set, a new doll house, an everyday heros house (police and fire house), lots of Barbies, Buzz Lightyear, a knight and Cinderella dress up clothes, little knex toys, leapfrog book, a little fisher price tractor and coloring books.  That should last them for a while!!!

Sibley got a new bike from Pippi and Poppi!

Wyatt got a Jake and the Neverland Pirates ship from Pippi and Poppi!  He's been playing with it constantly!

Sibley and Wyatt at Santa's Wonderland in College Station!  We went on a hayride to see the lights!

We found Frosty the Snowman while we were there!

Everything there had lights!  Even the Texas flag!

Sitting around the campfire listening to live music

They had a snow machine!

Oh, they found Santa!!!

Going to talk to Santa

Sibley decided her baby dolls needed to rest on the couch with daddy

Wyatt turned into Rudolph while he was at school!

On a hayride while at Santa's Farm, put on by the local FFA

Sibley and her friend Julia at a birthday party at the downtown aquarium.  They had a sloth there!

Sibley hanging out with the stingrays!

I took Sibley to see The Nutcracker in Clear Lake and after the show you could get autographs from some of the performers!  She was so excited!!!

Cookie baking day at Pippi's house!

We once again get to see Santa at a friend's house during a kids Christmas party

Sibley and Wyatt with our neighbors and best friends, baby Howard and Hank

The stocking I made for my niece, Zoe.  Finished it just in time for Christmas!!!  Literally!  30 min. before we left for my parents I was finishing it up!  I better start now if I want to make our new baby's stocking for Christmas next year!

Wyatt decorated himself with stickers when we left the house and kept them on for the whole ride to my parents house.  I think the ones he had on his stomach he left on for several days.  They even survived bath time.

Sibley's gifts from Nonni, Nonno, Uncle Mark and Aunt Liesel

Wyatt "fertilizing" the grass

Cinderella and Buzz Lightyear

He loves this costume so much he wanted to wear it while we went to Justin's parent's house for dinner on Christmas Eve!

Thanksgiving and Camping!

Sibley at school during her Thanksgiving feast!  She named herself "Flower Hunter."  Quite fitting for her!

Wyatt at the Thanksgiving feast.  He was just Indian Wyatt. :)

Sibley and Wyatt with Pippi on Thanksgiving Day.

My cheese ball pumpkin I made for an appetizer on Thanksgiving!

Talkin on the cell phone

Sibley like to "pose" for pictures.  Such a little ham!

It's kind of funny because she starts posing and then Wyatt tries to pose like her

Here is our camping trip to Hunstville State Park the weekend after Thanksgiving.  We were able to get a last minute reservation for Saturday night.  It was pretty cold that night but it was fun!  I think the low was 39'!  Burrr!  We had a perfect camping spot on the lake and on a slight slope so Sibley and Wyatt had a blast on their scooters!  Just enough of a slope to really make them go but not too steep.

Justin teaching Sibley how to roast marshmallows to make smores!

Wyatt got impatient and just wanted to eat some marshmallows!

Justin blowing out a marshmallow that caught on fire! Oops!

Yum!!!

Our lakeside view

Justin and Wyatt playing football

The people next to us found this big caterpillar and brought it over for Sibley and Wyatt to have.

Getting ready for the cold night!

Ready for bed!

Uncle Mark and Aunt Liesel getting a little taste of 3 kids!  As you can see Uncle Mark thinks we're crazy for having a third baby!  This is taken at Nonni and Nonno's house after Zoe's baptism.

The four of us went on a paddle boat ride in Hermann Park

My diva!

I looked out the window and they had climbed onto the lawnmower pretending to ride it.  I have to say they are pretty good at entertaining themselves!
